Types of credit information we exchange with CRBs:

- The fact that you have applied for credit and the amount;
- Credit liability information (credit provider, type, limit, start/close dates);
- Repayment history, default information, payment information, serious credit infringements;
- Information derived from CRB reports (credit eligibility information).
Purposes:
- Assess your application, manage your account, collect overdue payments, and assist CRBs to update records.
Your rights with CRBs:
- Pre-screening opt-out: Ask CRBs not to use your credit information for direct marketing pre-screening.
- Fraud ban: Request CRBs not to use/disclose your information if you believe you are (or are likely to be) a victim of fraud.

6. Marketing communications & preferences
We may contact you by email, phone, post, or digital means about products/services that may interest you. You can opt out at any time by following unsubscribe instructions or contacting us. We will not use your credit information for direct marketing. We will not publish your image or likeness in marketing without consent; if you have previously provided consent, you may withdraw it by written notice.

- CRBs and other credit providers;
- Payment processors, IT and cloud service providers;
- Logistics and delivery providers;
- Professional advisers (lawyers, accountants, auditors);

8. Overseas disclosure

We may use automated credit scoring to help assess applications by evaluating your information against our lending criteria. You can request a review of any decision made largely by automated means.

You can request access to, or correction of, your personal information (including credit-related information) by contacting us (section 13). We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity. If we refuse your request, we’ll tell you why and how to complain.
11. Security and retention
We take reasonable technical, organisational, and physical steps to protect personal information as required by APP 11. We retain information as required for business and legal purposes and then destroy or de-identify it when no longer needed. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure; please take care when sending information online.
If a data breach is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify you and the OAIC under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
